What a fun day!

So today I am SEVEN!  I had a fun birthday and kept myself quite busy!  We started out the day with a special pancake breakfast at home. 

After breakfast I opened my birthday gifts!  It was very exciting and I got some very nice gifts!  I got some nice books and clothes, a luggage set of my very own, a Barbie house and Barbie with a horse, the lego vet and a special mat for my Legos, and some duct tape with a book that tells you all the fun things you can make with duct tape!

I had fun playing with all my new stuff today too. I even shared with my little brother. He really loved playing with the balloons!  He kept calling them balls instead but close enough!

We got our family pictures taken today too and went out to eat at the Mexican!  They sang happy birthday in Spanish and I also got some fried ice cream!  It was a pretty awesome day!

Tomorrow is my lucky day!

I will be 7 tomorrow!  At 10:22am to be exact!  I celebrated today with my friends at the park. It was a beautiful day in the mid 60s with sunshine!  I invited a lot of friends and I decided to ask them to bring items that I can donate to the humane society instead of gifts. I am very excited to take all the stuff there for the doggies and kittens. 

I got to open an early gift tonight from mommy and daddy too. It was a wii game...just dance 3!  I had fun dancing and learning new dance moves!

SUMMER!

it has finally started feeling more like summer around here!  we have had so much rain and it hasn’t really been hot yet since we haven’t had to turn on the a/c!  last week we did lots of stuff outside in between showers and storms.  we went to the park, wildcat lake for the first time this year, and we also put up our kiddie pool on the deck!  we also play a lot with ryne’s water table on the deck and we love to get out the sidewalk chalk! 

       

           

 

this month has been great so far.  we started off celebrating independence day by going to the parade.  it was raining (OF COURSE) but we still had a great time!

  

     

grandma and grandpa arrived from iowa the next day for a wonderful visit.  we enjoyed playing pirates, taking strolls (when it wasn’t raining) and going to the park.  it sure was great to have them here!
