first things first, let’s catch up a little bit with some halloween pictures! i got to celebrate a few times in my costume this year. i told everyone i was rapunzel since i had a really long blonde braid on the back of my hat.
this year, i went to halloween at the Y and it was outside. they had fun games, including the cake walk, which i played a few times but didn’t win. they also had a costume parade and a bonfire where we could roast marshmallows.![]()

we also had a fall festival at the church where i am in awana cubbies. they had a costume contest, a bonfire where we cooked hot dogs and made smores and also a hayride! ![]()
we carved our smaller pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern one night (i named him jackie) and made cookies to share with my classmates at school. ![]()
on halloween, we went to the banner elk trunk-or-treat at the town park. there were lots of decorated cars and nice people handing out candy and a really fun costume contest. i got a medal this year for honorable mention for my costume! i also got a free yummy hot dog!
i am in a tumbling class this fall through the Y. it meets every saturday morning and i am learning a lot! it is helping most with my listening skills and challenging me to try new things. but above all, it’s lots of fun!
the past few weeks, we have taken advantage of every mild day we get by going to the park. i have been taking my bike with me too and getting much better at riding it. i wasn’t too good with my brakes before and would get scared of even the smallest hill, but now i am very brave and love to ride fast.
check out how i match the girl on my shirt!
