we had a super labor day weekend! we kicked it off friday afternoon with a birthday party for my friend davis at the banner elk town park. they have a little bounce house that they usually have set up in their basement. they brought it to the park and set it up for all the kids to play on! they also had an enormous cake that was a volcano! they rigged it to erupt with some dry ice! i got such a big piece of cake that i couldn’t even finish eating it.
that night my friend amy arrived at our house with her sister kayla, her parents norma and brian and their close family friend who we call aunt dewie. we had so much fun playing and went to tweetsie twice while they were here. daddy went with us for the first time this season and we also met lily baye and madden there one time. it got really cold at night with lows down around 40 degrees so we really got a taste of fall that weekend.
