fun-filled saturday

yesterday we gave the pookies a bubble bath in the driveway!  it was really fun to watch, and morgie even came over close to me and shook off, so i got wet!  they don’t stink anymore and they are also nice and soft!

 

 

 

   

after my naptime, we went to the ASU fan fest at the stadium.  i got my face painted by one of the cheerleaders.  she really liked my app shirt and my pom poms (i didn’t tell her they are really hawkeye pom poms though).  they also had bounce houses there and i waited in line to jump, but once it was my turn, i freaked out and didn’t want to jump anymore.  there were football players out on the field signing autographs and meeting fans.  they also had a scrimmage, but we didn’t stick around for that since it was time for us to eat dinner.  we can’t wait for college football to start!

 

YAY for dance!

today was my very first day of dance class!  i was so excited to go but mommy was a little skeptical about how i would react once we actually got there.  i did great though, not nervous at all and didn’t even look back when mommy left the room.  i didn’t tell mommy much of what i learned but i did show her the tinkerbell stamp the teacher put on my RIGHT hand.  i will have dance class every monday from now until may and i will be in a few recitals during that time as well.  i am learning both ballet and tap and also how to be an expert princess in my dance attire.

weekend fun

saturday included lots of bubbles!  mommy and daddy washed their cars that morning, which means there were two bubble baths in our driveway!  then after naptime, we went back outside to play with my bubble toys!  we made bubbles of all different sizes with wands and pipes.

 

 

sunday we took a short road trip to winston-salem.  we went to mass there at a really old and pretty church and then met my friends anthony and mackenzie and their parents for lunch.  after we ate, we all went to the children’s museum.  it was such a neat place, with different themed areas.  my favorite parts were the grocery store and the krispy kreme factory.

another week of summer has passed

mommy and i have been keeping ourselves busy.  it was the typical week of trying to juggle doing fun things for me and getting things done at home and getting the shopping done.  but we managed and i had fun swimming a couples days, making homemade playdoh one day and today we went to tweetsie.  it was a perfect day for it…not too hot and not too sunny. 

i have been enjoying fudge-sicles lately since they were on sale at the harris teeter.  i call them chocolate popsicles and i don’t get one until i finish all my dinner.  they are really tasty and i can finish one in record time!  here are some pics of me conquering one!

my week in review

last saturday i went to my friend lillian's birthday party. she had a dance party so i got to wear my new tutu outfit! it sure was fun, but a little overwhelming for me at first since there were a lot of kids there. i am a little shy when it comes to crowds. but i let go after a while and danced and played with the hula hoop and colored on the easel. i also sang the birthday song and watched lillian blow out the candles on her cake. i can't wait until i turn three!

this past week i went to three different parks! it sure was fun, but it took me a while to get used to each park once we got there since they each have different things for me to play with. these pictures are from the banner elk park on monday, but we don't have pictures from the valle crucis park on tuesday or the tot lot on friday since mommy didn't take the camera. i have become quite the climber! i love monkey bars too, but of course i'm a little too short to do them by myself.

yesterday we had an open house in the afternoon so we packed up the doggies and went over to dixie's for a cookout and some fun in the sun! it sure was hot, but i still had a good time mowing their yard and watching daddy play horseshoes with the guys. we also went on a few wagon rides and listened to some music.

today was a super fun day! it was quite hot here so daddy got my pool out and i spent most of the day in it! it was great to be outside and i had so much fun playing with my pool toys and splashing around. my friend dixie came over later in the afternoon and swam with me for a little while. mommy and daddy had a good time testing out their new camera as well. it's waterproof and seems to work pretty good.
