SUMMER!

it has finally started feeling more like summer around here!  we have had so much rain and it hasn’t really been hot yet since we haven’t had to turn on the a/c!  last week we did lots of stuff outside in between showers and storms.  we went to the park, wildcat lake for the first time this year, and we also put up our kiddie pool on the deck!  we also play a lot with ryne’s water table on the deck and we love to get out the sidewalk chalk! 

       

           

 

this month has been great so far.  we started off celebrating independence day by going to the parade.  it was raining (OF COURSE) but we still had a great time!

  

     

grandma and grandpa arrived from iowa the next day for a wonderful visit.  we enjoyed playing pirates, taking strolls (when it wasn’t raining) and going to the park.  it sure was great to have them here!

 

      

Pretty Sunday

Mommy, Ryne and I took a little walk this afternoon. I had to bring my notebook with me just like I did when I took walks with grandma and grandpa in Iowa. I took notes about the things I saw and mommy took pictures along the way for me. 

Ryne and I also played outside at his water table this afternoon and got quite wet!  We love to splash but when my brother is done, well he is DONE!!!

Attention tooth fairy!

I finally lost my first tooth!  It has been wiggly for awhile but I didn't mess with it in Iowa because I wanted to lose it in North Carolina. I didn't want to confuse the tooth fairy since I was not at home for a long time. Today I was eating a hot dog for lunch and I felt something funny on the second bite. I pulled just a little on my tooth and it came right out!  Mommy and I figured it would be so soon when we brushed this morning since it was bleeding just a little. I can't wait to see what the tooth diary will bring me tonight!

I have my first loose tooth!!!

Last night while brushing my teeth I was complaining of my teeth hurting. So I wiggled and discovered that I have my first loose tooth!  It is the middle left one on the bottom. I have been preparing for the tooth fairy's visit already!  I also put a special tooth box in my backpack in case I loose it at school.
