one of my favorite things to do when my daddy is home and it's not raining outside: hang out in the big red truckbed! i also love to jump from the tailgate and have daddy catch me!

this week has really been all about THOMAS THE TRAIN! he has been at tweetsie all week so we went on monday and then again today. mommy did let me get something from the gift shop since i really think thomas is cool. i got a train whistle that is shaped like him! it was the cheapest thing in the store, which is why i got it, but i love it and carry it around everywhere. i also got a cool thomas tattoo on my hand! i cried when it got washed off in the bathtub monday night, but i got another one today while we were there. i guess that i'll be crying again tonight at bathtime.
today during the hopper and porter show (they are a big bunny and turtle), i got up on stage for the first time! they always ask for volunteers to use these big foam hammers to help them work on the railroad. today was the first day i felt brave enough to go up there. i just held onto the hammer though. i didn't feel like hammering today, but i watched the other kids up there and since they were a little bigger than me, they sure moved that hammer around a lot! they sing and dance a lot during that show so it's no wonder that it's on my list of faves at tweetsie! 
mommy and i went to tweetsie on monday. my friend dixie met us there too with her mommy! it was dixie's first visit to tweetsie, so i showed her all the stops like i was a tour guide! she got a season pass as well so i'm sure that we'll get to meet up there again sometime really soon!
last week mommy got some funny pictures of me dancing along with my fridge dj. i have become quite the talented dancer and i'm looking forward to going to see the funktastic five at the bix fest in july so i can show everyone in downtown davenport all my awesome moves!
on saturday morning, mommy set up my table and chairs on the deck with my coloring books and i sat there and entertained myself for a while so she could hammer in some pesky nails on the deck. then mommy made my lunch and i got to eat it on the deck like a picnic. she could see me just fine through the window so she could watch me eat lunch while she unloaded the dishwasher from the kitchen! i thought it was so cool to talk to her through the window! my friend dixie came over that evening and we ate outside again for dinner. my folding table and chairs are the best!
today mommy took me to smartcuts and i got a much needed haircut. she took about an inch off and it just looks much healthier. hopefully it will grow thicker now so my pigtails will have lots more hair! 
monday was my last day of first morning out until the fall. one of the boys in my class had a family picnic in his backyard to celebrate. he had many things to play with at his place, including a swingset, many playhouses and a trampoline. i loved jumping in there, but it got a little hard to jump at times when there were more than just two people.
next year, the kids who were in my class will advance to the 3-year-old class and i will still be in the two's since my birthday just misses the cut-off. i hope they will remember me and still say "hi" in the hallway even though they will be in a different class than me. i am happy that ms norman will be my teacher again next year. she has been with the program since it started 16 years ago and she loves working with 2-year-olds, which is great for me!
friday mommy and i were able to spend another morning at tweetsie. it was crowded since it was field trip day for many schools in many counties from this side of the state. i did get to meet up with my friend lilybaye and we had a great time riding the rides and watching the show together.
